At the request of school Old Student Association (OSA), Karai Welfare Society (UK) donated £600 (126,600 SRL) towards to raising the playground level. Six hundred loads of soil delivered to the playground from the newly built Valanthalai Junction water reservoir. This preliminary work is as part of the major development of the playground. This donation will be used for cover the part cost of soil transportation.
KWS believed that it is necessary works to improve the playground. Currently the playground is not been able to use during the rainy season due to flooding. The playground is not only used by the school, other events are also held at this ground such as Vaddukoddai circuit school sports, Karainagar AGA division sports activities etc. Here are few photos of the current works.
